This Uji matcha tart-mousse combo strikes attention because the diverse flavour profiles of matcha are distinctly highlighted through multiple feel-good textures. Each textured layer shows off the different ideals of the matcha flavour - breezy grassy notes, bitter undertones, soft sweetness, and savoury hints - instead of just the 'strong' taste of matcha most of us are familiar with.

The matcha mousse is light and melts in your mouth. The matcha ganache and matcha glaze are polished and smooth, giving off matcha's deep bitter and umami flavours. The matcha joconde and almond cream are fluffy and soft - the nutty taste of matcha shines especially here. As a unique touch, a thin creamy layer of Azuki red beans tames and balances out the earthy, bitter strength of matcha - like soulmates, reunited. Lastly, the sweet and buttery almond tart crust - the tart shell that perfectly complements all of our tarts - pleases you with a crunchy cookie-like texture. Refrigeration (0-4°C): Keep refrigerated immediately upon receipt for at least 30 mins. Avoid freezing.

Serving Temp. (10°C - 12°C): Take the cake out from the fridge right before serving.

Best Consumed Within 2 Days: Maintain freshness for up to 4 days with proper refrigeration.

Cutting: Use a stainless steel knife for clean slices.

Consumption: Fork into every layer to savour the full experience.

By Car: Due to temperature sensitivity, we recommend transporting our cakes only by car.

Flat Surface: Ensure the cake is on a level surface at all times.

Short Journey (up to 1 hour): Keep AC on high; avoid sun exposure.

Longer Journey (over 1 hour): Use a cooler bag and ice packs to preserve cake freshness.
