“Item” or “Items” include orders, cakes, tarts, cookies, and all products offered by us.
“We” and “Us” represent Lacher Patisserie and all its personnel.
1. Pickup Location
Lachér Patisserie, A-1-11, Eve Suite, Jalan PJU 1A/41, Ara Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Type in 'Lacher Patisserie' into Google Maps. It will lead you to the drop-off point at level 1 of Eve Suite. You can park your car there and walk into our shop (a brown wall just a few shops away from the drop-off point).
Landmark: 7-11 Eve Suite.
Drive all the way to the back of the building until you see lobby 2. Around lobby 2, you should see a 'sign keluar' to your right with a ramp/road going uphill. Go up the ramp and turn to your inner left. You should see the drop-off point at level 1 of Eve Suite.
Landmark: Smart Era Kindergarten, Coco Fika, Shaunteo Creations.
You can park your car at the drop-off point just beside Shaunteo Creations/Smart Era and walk into our shop. Our shop is a brown wall just a few shops away from Smart Era.
You would need to walk into our store to collect your order from us.
2. Pickup Hours
We open from 10am - 6pm daily (unless stated otherwise). You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. Please check your primary inbox, spam folder, or promotions tab. You can come anytime from when you receive that email until 6pm.
If you are not able to collect your order from our store by 6pm, the order will be kept overnight and you would need to collect the order from us the next day (10am-6pm).
3. Grab/Lalamove/3rd Party Drivers
If you are arranging for a 3rd party driver to collect your order from us, please ensure that a car is selected and not a motorcycle. Our cakes and tarts need to be transported by car with the AC on high. For longer journeys, an ice bag with ice packs is required.
You are required to clearly provide the driver with your name and order number as they will need to present it to us in order to collect your order.
We do not take responsibility for any problems, issues, or situations that arise from and arise because of the 3rd party delivery service as well as for the items once they have left our premises. It is advisable that the driver takes a picture of all the items of your order before and after delivering them to you.
We do not make any delivery arrangements or book and arrange 3rd party delivery services on behalf of pickup customers. Please arrange for your own 3rd party delivery service if you have opted for self-pickup and are not able to come over to our store to collect your order from us.
4. How to handle our cakes
All cakes and tarts need to be transported by car and placed on a flat surface, eg. car floor.
They can last in a car ride with the AC on high for about 1 hour. For longer journeys, we recommend using a cooler bag with ice packs.
Cooler bags can be purchased separately on our website. The cooler bags come with 2 free ice packs.
We don't take any responsibility for the items once they have left our premises.
5. Change from pickup to delivery
We are not able to change your order from pickup to delivery. But you do have the options to:
- Remain your order for self-pickup and arrange for your own 3rd party delivery service like grab/lalamove car to collect the cake from us at your chosen time slot up till 6pm. (see point 3).
- Cancel your order
- cancellations are not possible for same-day orders
- cancellations are not possible for next-day orders after 6pm (after 2pm for 1 day preorder cakes)
- Refunds (if any) will be in the form of a store credit voucher which will be sent to your email.
To request a cancellation of your order, please submit the amendment request form which can be found on our 'Contact Us' page.
