There’s something wonderfully comforting about banana cake, especially when warm banana and chocolate come together. This banana chocolate cake is all about the contrast between the natural sweetness and fragrance of real bananas and the deep richness of Valrhona Caraibe and Guanaja, brought together with warmth, softness and just enough spice. Comforting without feeling overly sweet, each bite moves between delicate banana, rich chocolate and a silky finish that lingers just long enough to make you want another.

The first bite is warm and fragrant, with fresh, ripe banana and a gentle hint of cinnamon, the cake is sprinkled with house-made Valrhona Guanaja chocolate chips, creating pockets of deep, bittersweet chocolate that melt on the tongue with every bite. The chocolate brings a rich, rounded depth to the mellow sweetness of banana, while the Valrhona Caraïbe ganache whip that give way with each bite, releasing a rich chocolate flavour on the tongue. Together, the two chocolates create different layers of richness throughout the cake, complementing the banana without overpowering its natural sweetness.

Ingredients: All Purpose Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Banana, Brown Sugar, Butter, Chocolate, Cinnamon Powder, Egg, Glucose, Honey, Invert Sugar, Milk, Oil, Salt, Whipping Cream

Keep refrigerated (0-4°C) immediately upon receipt for at least 30 mins. Avoid freezing.

Take out from fridge and consume within 20-25 minutes for optimal taste and texture. Best serving temp: (10°C - 12°C).

Use a stainless steel knife for clean slices. Fork into every layer to savour the full experience.

Due to their temperature sensitivity, we recommend transporting our cakes only by car. Ensure the cake is placed on a level surface at all times and keep the AC on high and avoid sun exposure.

For journeys longer than 1 hour, use a cooler bag and ice packs to preserve freshness.
